Answer Creations LLC is a newly formed company by me, Randolph Smith. I have been programming computers since 1977 with a 10-year break as a carpenter in my own business. Raised in the northwest hills of Connecticut, I am a grounded and faith filled man who has compassion for everyone I encounter. I have carried this compassion throughout my adult life and enjoy using my computer skills to make people's lives more pleasant.
I have enhanced businesses both large and small, from small Real Estate companies to AT&T and Comcast. I have been a Unix Administrator, a Windows Administrator, a Business Analyst and a Software Developer. I have written software in numerous programming languages and have built networks, computers, databases, software applications, scripts and simplified processes wherever I have worked.
I believe that software is supposed to allow a person to have more time to focus on their work, therefore, I design and create software and processes that are intuitive for all and simple to maintain. I create it so that when I am done, I will not be needed until a new feature is desired. I document what I create thoroughly and train everyone in how it is used and maintained so that the company I have created the software for can remain independent and not dependent on me. I am able to use technology to improve, automate and streamline business processes making companies more efficient and thus more profitable.
I love to teach everything I know to anyone who wants to learn. I love helping students with understanding how the world of computer programming works and teaching adults how to use computers in a simple way so they are not overwhelmed. I have infinite patience and do not sit in judgement, but always look for how I can get the understanding across.
My hobbies include playing the guitar and composing music. I also love to share the wisdom that God has blessed me with. I love animals and I love to laugh.
I am now living here in Saugerties, NY with my love, Heidi, and our beloved 15-year old Shih Tzu named Gizmo.
I look forward to helping you with your next computer project.
Sincerely,
Randolph Smith
P.S. Calling me Randy is just fine
