I returned to college and obtained a 4.0 gpa and became a member of Phi Theta Kappa (No degree). My long and varied background in IT officially began in 1993 when upon my first day, in my first position as a programmer, I was asked if I would like to become a Unix Systems Administrator. I agreed and was immediately sent for training at Data General in Westboro, MA where I received my Unix System Administration Certification. For the next 25 years I did a combination of Unix Systems Administration, Windows Systems Administration, Business Analysis and Software Development in a variety of companies both large and small.
